Axl handled that great. It would be kinda funny if the security guys (and Fernando? Isn't it him?) tackled Bumble too as they tried to get the fan. I would love to see Axl's reaction to that.

It would suck for Bumble though.

There's a big difference between excited teenager (who got pushed right into Ron's back, who had just high fived him) and adult psychotic. It was a kid so Axl was more amused by it than freaked out.

I'm glad to see it worked out well and is a funny video that highlights what the new band is about. Ron loves it, Axl laughs it off, and they both check up after the security guard abuses his power as the kid is already being taken off by another.

I understand both situations and I see the need to act fast. But if it's being taken care of (which it clearly was, one guy has the arm around him to escort), the tackle is excessive.

This video is amazing. Axl's voice is top, he's having a lot of fun, handles the situation right and the band is tight as usual.

True, I have 3 guns with 2 on the way and most people Axl's age would consider me a kid. At the venue I saw GN'R at in Chicago they were checking people for weapons via frisking, metal detectors, etc. They had cops everywhere too. It was Chicago which is hell bent on disarming citizens everywhere so I'm not sure if this is the case for all venues in the other locations.

Yes in this instance the tackle was excessive, but I think it was done to send a message - jump on the stage, you're gonna get tackled and roughed up. It's a good way to convince others who may be considering doing the same thing to not even try it.
