Wow really cool

I bought the gran torino song after i saw the movie and loved heaaring it on axls piano solo, never seen that clip of him singing it tho

The clip of him singing was from the L.A or Vegas Pay Per View llivestream footage (Think it was l.a!).

Great footage, check it out if you get the chance, there's videos circulating around on Youtube.

It is a strong movie, that addresses Racism, and how that invisible but very present issue exists.

People were a bit freaked that Eastwood chose this movie role as his last.

If we don't talk about racisim it will thrive.

Personally I think Gran Torino, and American HistoryX expose racism, throw it in our faces and force us to think about it.

Great Song as well.

gran torino is a terrible movie about racism......it's like popcorn flick and very unrealistic. its like a south park parody of boys in the hood mets karate kid.

You are such a twat no one likes you. Take your obama agenda to your occupy protests.

I don't view it that way, although some racist epithets were thrown around to establish the character it ultimately shows how we can all change our predjudicial views.

Confronting issues head-on sometimes shocks people, and could make them contemplate and revise their own views.

Both Gran Torino and American HistoryX ultimately explore the main character's predjudicial mindset AND show how they realized that they were wrong.

I liked Gran Torino, and Axl should record a full version of the song.

Hope that can happen, the lyrics are brilliant

Gran Torino was basically an art house Death Wish. Me, I'll stick with the real deal.

No, Charles Bronson was undeniably a bad-ass, but Gran Torino was a bit deeper. None of the Deathwish movies reached this level of intensity.

I guess you haven't seen Death Wish IV. Charlie practically wins the war on drugs by himself.

I only just worked out the war on drugs was actually a war on communist kind of things.

The War on Drugs is just the US trying to keep the people South of the Border down. It's sort of like how the media tries to keep New GNR down. I just say "fuck it, who doesn't like to catch a buzz from time to time?"
