My friend asked which skull was Buckethead on the AFD cover.

So I was wearing my AFD hoodie...

My friend: "that's a crap album cover, why are there five random skulls on a cross?"

Me: "Each skull is a band member"

My friend: "Oh I see. So which one is Buckethead?"

At least he knows Buckethead was in GN'R. That's more than 99% of people I know.

+1.

When Duff played with GNR back in 2010 I was so excited I told my friends at a party we were at and they said: "Who's Duff?" Mind you, these are music interested people (though they're into black metal, trash metal etc mostly) but they didn't know who Duff was....

So knowing who Buckethead is and that he played in GNR is definetly a plus in my book.

Yeah, you should facepalm yourself because you thought this question was worth a topic up in here.

I mean come on.

want to stir up some shit?

don't work like this, man. you would have to somehow work Axl's hair/voice/clothes critique, or the good ol' axl vs slash into it.

that's how you stir up shit around here.

That reminds me of the principal I had when I was in the 7th or 8th grade.

I was never much of a dress-up/Halloween kind of guy but for school I figured what the hell, I'll throw a KFC bucket on my head. No mask, no coat, nothing else. Just the bucket. It was easy, and I had just recently discovered some Buckethead solo material. To my surprise, my principal, who must have been in her fifties at the time, comes out with "Buckethead from Guns N' Roses? Looking good!" which floored me. I had no idea she knew much about Guns N' Roses in general, but to know that much impressed me.

Now I'm in second year of University, have I really been around the forum that long?

Sadly, it is.

I don't know about that, loads of people know bucket was in GNR whenever I talk about GNR to them they often mention Bucket when talking about band members "he was that guy who replaced slash right?" is a common line. He is very distinctive which is why quite a few know about him.
