The Archer Posted January 24, 2012 Share Posted January 24, 2012 (edited) Brian Johnson in particular couldn't pull it off, but I don't think anything would really sound right musically either.Not true - Jonno may not be Bon Scott but he does a better Plant than today's Plant, in this cover of Led Zepp from a few years ago - Since then, his vocals have noticeably improved and while it may still not be at his cast iron, broken glass gargling best from the early 80's I'm sure that he could take a stab at something that Axl's sung and pull it off well.The question though, is whether he would want to. I just don't think that Brian would want to cover Axl and yes, Acca Dacca don't do too many covers.What would have been really cool though, would be to see Guns opening for AC/DC - I wouldn't mind dying after that.
