axlslash
In addition to doing several festival shows and a full tour in Europe this summer, The Boss and crew announced this morning that they will tour the boards here in the states first. The tour kicks off in Atlanta and hits most of the Springsteen strongholds (Boston, Philly, NYC, Jersey, Greensboro, San Jose, LA, etc) before rocking JazzFest and hoppin' across the pond. I can't wait to hit one of the Philly shows. Anyone else going?
NightProwler
Nothing close to me, so not this leg. Heard he is playing Yankess Stadium/Wrigley in the Summer. I consider this US tour to just be a warm up. The real action begins once he is back from Europe.

No show has been announced, but it seems likely that there will be a performance in some capacity.
axlslash
And FWIW, this is a total rehearsal leg. It's not even really a tour. Gonna be a static setlist, just getting the new sax player (Ed Manion or Jake Clemmens) used to playing the important Big Man spots before the big shows (JazzFest, European tour). The baseball stadium tour taking shape for August will be the serious stateside leg, possibly with another next winter/spring on the indoor circuit. I want to get out to a show (maybe Buffalo/Detroit), but I'm saving my money for the summer/fall tour, because that is when he pumps out the long set lists
dalsh327
Hard Rock Calling is 2 weeks before the Olympics, and he'll prob. wind up going back to see a couple of events if they don't launch right into another leg of the tour.
Mansin Humanity
bought my tickets for boston this morning. even though it's just one of the warmup shows, the group i wanted to go with is all gonna be doing different things in the summer fall so we said screw it and went for this one. can't wait! axlslash
Warmups or not, the shows will be epic. I saw Bruce 3 times on the Working on a Dream tour, once on the first leg and twice on the second, and the quality was comparable. The setlist was obviously a bit more static early on, but that's why I think I'm not gonna setlist-watch like I usually do before the Philly show I'm going to. Can't wait to finally see The Boss back doing what he does best!
Demon Wolf
Warm-up shows? I saw Bruce in 2009 on one of these supposed European warm-up shows (massive stadium tour), and he played for 3 hours and 15 minutes and it was one of the greatest things I have ever seen. Will be seeing him both nights at Ullevi in Gothenburg in July EDIT: Turns out I misread it a bit, so I see he is touring the US before he hits the stadium tour in Europe. It's a practice run to let the Miami Horns readjust to the E Street lifestyle. JazzFest and Europe are the real tours for now, along with a second US leg in the fall.
