Black Sabbath
$80 is a great price.Van Halen tickets are around $160 each for assigned seats.$125 is pricey, but then again, you're getting a more intimate show, and a special one at that (reclaiming the name, etc.)Anxious to see how much the House of Blue (NJ) and Fillmore shows will be.Also, here's the Terminal 5 has for Gn'R Edited January 30, 2012 by Black Sabbath
hitmanhart408
this is probably like the first time members have said they are gearing up for something and then it actually happens quickly

Apollo
I'm an Axl die-hard .....but this band needs to put out a new album, not continue this tour.Touring is better than non activity. But my gosh. CD is over three years old, and GnR has been touring for a decade now.At some point this band needs to put out music and stop living off the past. A tour just prolongs the release date of new music. Which is a bad thing.
Black Sabbath
So far:Terminal 5 - $80 [before fees]The Ritz - $125 [before fees]House of Blues (Chicago) - $138.65 [after fees]The Fillmore - $96 [after fees]
RandallFlagg
If people are willing to pay then why not, they put on one of the best shows around and give it everything for three hours. In Axl's mind maybe they've only been touring Chinese properly since it was actually released. Up to 2008 it seemed like what most big bands do, play the classics and play like two or three tracks of their current album and that's it, except Chinese hadn't been released yet. Then again on an ambition level, people will always come to see a Guns N' Roses line up led by Axl, there's been more than enough time to figure out a new direction with this line up and god knows how much material from the last ten years, there's far too much momentum in this band these days but it's down to Axl's intentions and hopes. uzi your illusion
I just saw the band in Camden and had a great time. That was a pretty up close and personal show already, I'm loving that Guns is out there doing something but I'm finding it hard to pump myself up for the same exact thing I just witnessed. Someone sell me on why this is so special.

You never know when Axl will just decide to draw the shades again.

I splurged for 3 shows on the last run, Camden being one of them, and I don't regret any of them at all.And I'll definitely be doing at least 2 of these shows, as well. Looking here for some presale info for that date. Anyone that we met there looking to go to the HOB concert in AC? Would love to meet up if so! Hoping they are going to offer VIP packages for that show!

Apollo
very much doubt they will play new songsReally, then what is the point? How long is this band going to tour off of one album, and the old band's work?
Black Sabbath
6 theater shows playing the same setlist as the last US leg?I can't see that happening.
WhazUp
It definately is plausible that they would unveil a couple of new tunes in a theater setting
Black Sabbath
It definately is plausible that they would unveil a couple of new tunes in a theater settingOf course though, most of the people that aren't in the area for these shows are going to deny such a thing is possible. Voodoochild
From the press release I'd say we'll at least have Estranged back. So I'd say yes, pretty much the same setlist unless they want to test the waters with one or two new songs. Possible, but not very likely. The fact that they are already in NY means they might be rehearsing some new songs....Richard and Frank (and possible Ron) are in NY indeed, but do we know about the other guys?
