Flayer
Steel Panther's a pretty great act, and in this video they get a sloppily drunk Kelly Clarkson up on stage with them. She actually requests to sing Sweet Child O' Mine together, results are hilarious.

dalsh327
They all came from known metal bands, Ralph actually sang in LA Guns for a little while, but the "mockumentary" is also worth checking out when their first CD came out. They were also "Danger Kitty" in the American Express ads, but people remember Atomic Punks, the VH tribute band so good that Roth started plucking members from there. Metal Skool always had celebs (usually drunk), and Steel Panther was just so they could start doing their own songs instead of playing cover songs for a living. They were always fucking around with rock star cliches, but Ralph's take on Roth is excellent. I think some of them had also been in Wahlberg's "Rock Star" which Clooney produced, so I'm sure he's the hard rock fan. But Steel Panther's opening for - New Kids on the Block at some festival show in PA. The footage with Jessica Simpson, Pink, and guest drummer Jeremy Piven are worth checking out. DirtyDeeds
So Atomic Punks, Metal Skool, and Steel Panther are all the same band?
