You Got No Right

Slither

Loving the Alien

Mother Maria

and I'm really digging You're a Lie's solo right now.

Street Child is up there with his very best GNR solos. It is haunting, and the kind of thing that Axl would have given his left nut to get his hands on as he could make a masterpiece song with that type of playing. You can feel every note he plays in this song, and it is a shame it is kind of obscure and not more known to most of his fans.

Vocalise (although an interpretation of Rachmaninoff is also one of my favorites from him. Slash doing a take on Classical music is totally outside the box for him, but his playing on it is amazing. Another obscure one that is little known, but an awesome tune.

Finally, his guitar work on Gotten and Fall to Pieces is awesome to me. So melodic and somewhat understated. The melody/vibe of both of those are awesome.

Not sure this counts, but the solo in Give In to Me is brilliant.

Agree 100%. Even though Give In To Me was recorded in 1991 when Slash was still in GnR, the song is brilliant and Slash's performance in it is excellent. The basic slow picking riff was played by someone else, but the heavier guitar riffs and the solos were played by Slash.

The video below is of the instrumental. The first, shorter solo is from 2:17 to 2:37 and the longer, more ambitious solo is from 3:27 to 4:50:

The official video which has Slash, Gilby Clarke and Teddy Zig Zag!:

street child

Nothing to say

There are tones more I love but those are the ones popping out to me right now. I think some of his most interesting guitar work was done on contraband, because of his contrast with dave and the rhythm duff and matt put underneath slash. Made slash more creative with riffs and solos.

Yeah, when I first heard that song I was blown away. It's one of my favorite Michael Jackson songs. Every part of the song is amazing!
