I don't even think top hat's comments belong here, but whatevs. That's just silly considering most songs Axl plays on this tour are co- written by Slash and other former GNR members. So it should be allowed to mention him/ them in this section. As soon as Axl stops playing songs from those days, you have a point. But not at this moment.You're getting technical. GNFR2003 Posted May 11, 2012 Share Posted May 11, 2012 Myles Kennedy is a cool dude, and a very talented musician. But he doesn't have that one-in-a-million talent. I could see the disappointment in Duff's face while playing--he was happy for Steven and playing great, but he is the most well grounded, and knows that Myles' doesn't have the chops, or the magic that Axl brings. I think Duff was hoping so much in his heart to play with Axl, Slash, Steven, and Izzy one more time to show the world how great they were. I could almost see him thinking up there during the performance. Just think of that HOF appearance, with this type of singing? It would have brought the web down (pure magic, and the reason that while all the guys were important, it was Axl and his extra magic or whatever it is, and to some extent Izzy, who made this band the monster that it became):http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ZrBndJEGev8#!
