Jesus...GNR comes on 2 hours after the opening act has ended.Even in North America, everyone complains about this happening, and not in every case that is actually what happened. I've read reviews of shows I've actually been at where they complain about a 2 hour delay - shows where in reality it was a 40 minute break between bands. In addition, if the ticket said that the gig probably wouldn't start untill 23:00, Axl would probably start to go on even later. Axl hasn't got a problem with going on at 21:00, you see, Axl has got a problem with going on at the appointed time. It is his rebellious nature, not his biological rhythm, that is at work here.Oh for god sake stop swinging on the guy's nuts! Of course it would solve the problem by simply giving people a heads up that the show MIGHT not start until eleven. That way at least nobody can say they weren't warned and would have no reason to complain. Hahaha, the thing with people like you is that if they did let people know about it and as a result Axl decided not to come on until 2am you'd still be fawning over him and creaming yourself about how rock n roll it all was! GeetarMikey Posted May 23, 2012 Share Posted May 23, 2012 The problem with stating beforehand on the ticket websites/promotion for the gigs that if GN'R started their 2 hour show "around 11pm" hardly anyone would go because they'd know they couldn't get their last train/tube/bus home. So currently, GN'R gets fully paid even if up to half of the audience leave early because of the late start. Pretty terrible if you think about it.
