Guest Sleeping Like An Angel
I don't think it was just me because the crowd seemed to be really into them. They have so many hits and put on an awesome show. They've been my favourite so far (2001 onwards).Which other GN'R support acts do/did you rate? Guest Satanisk_Slakt
Most likely, yeah. I've only seen shit bands like Avenged Sevenfold and Bullets from Valentine or whatever they were called though.
Subtle Signs
My favorite was Baz as I am a huge Skid Row fan. I even enjoyed Mix Master Mike. I didn't like Bullet For My Valentine & unlike the above poster I would have loved to see A7X.
Rafał
The only one I have seen was Danko Jones. They sucked. Cheap Metallica ripoff (and I hate Metallica). It was more pleasant to stand/sit for 2 or 2,5 hours waiting for Gn'R to come out than to listen to DJ for the 20 or 30 minutes of them that I have seen (I was late for them). Randy Lahey
Maybe if Phil Lynott was still alive. Duff, Mixmaster Mike and Baz have been the best openers that I've witnessed on the CD Tour. Edited June 20, 2012 by Randy Lahey
RNRS
Thin Lizzy are everything Guns N' Roses isn't nowadays and most die hards wish they were.
Hejanne
Thin Lizzy is the best opening act I have seen so far, without a doubt. And I remember seeing Sebastian (who was great), Danko Jones (which i liked a lot), Rival Sons (they grew on me), Bullet for my Valentine (ok, I guess), Shaka Ponk (entertaining)... seely
Out of all the bands i've seen over the years, Thin Lizzy were easily up in the top tier as far as support acts go.
GunsNRevolvers2
I've seen Baz, Papa Roach and Pretty Reckless, I'd rank em:1. Baz2. Pretty Reckless3. Papa Roach

gnrseb
Baz was cool, 'cause I like the old Skid Row songs. Avenged Sevenfold is the worst opening band I've ever seen. Danko Jones.. was.. well: I've seen better performances (by himself!)Rival Sons were cool enough. And Thin Lizzy: Love them, but I haven't seen them live yet. I guess they were the best. SONOFABITCH
SOB is normally in the parking lot during the opening act. Probably with a woman he just met in one hand, an icy cold beer in the other. SOB is lucky if he finishes up in time for the Chinese Demcoracy opening song. SOB always gets his way.
DocBrown
Goldsboro were surprisingly very good. I'd say they were my favorite opener even over Baz. It's close though.
The Sandman
Thin Lizzy were amazing, as ever. Certainly up there.Baz brings great energy, every single time - and I do like him opening!BFMV were decent as well - but I can see why you may not like them.Probably Thin Lizzy in all... like the glory days of yore.
