SONOFABITCH
Marc,What was it like to be at one of the GNR hosted Hollywood parties where everyone in the club would head back to their pad after the show (1985-86). Was it insanely a good time, or was it so out of control you couldn't keep you guard down? And yes, we want all the details! SONOFABITCH
Bump - Marc I am not sure if you saw this one or if you just wanted to forget the debauchery!
recklessroad
If there was a party maybe after a gig or something there would be some girls and some Alcohol. It was not a big deal. It was just a band and their friends having a good time every now and then. There was not a lot on money around to spend on big parties all the time. Any money laying around went into getting to the next gig. Flyers, ads, venue fees that sort of stuff. It was more about getting the music out there and playing the next gig. SONOFABITCH
Okay I thought based off of Slash's book there were crazy parties after the clubs in the early days.
dalsh327
I think Marc prob. has better stories of GNR putting fliers up than afterparties. That was prob. fun, because you all were having fun being sneaky, not getting caught, whether it was by a cop or by a band you were slapping a GNR flier over.
