Georgy Zhukov
Those were fine women.I hope they are more daring with the next Bond girl. Like an Indian chick. It's about time.
Crazyman
You know, QoS wasn't that bad of a movie, even with those script rewrites. It's the editing with the constant quick shots that ruins it for me. I think regardless, CR would've been the better movie, but if you got a competent director and editing team on that and it would be a fine Bond movie. Facekicker
If she isn't the next Bond girl then Sam Mendes should be shot.
Georgy Zhukov
I've grown to like QoS. Yeah, Emily Ratajkowski needs to be in the next film. Should be the first to have full frontal nudity.

Nothing really wrong with the story, other than a weak villain in Greene. And even for how underwhelming the cinematography was, it still produced the opera scene, which is one of the best scenes in the series visually IMO. They need to bring back Mr. White, he was such a boss in CR and QOS.

Facekicker
At least with Putin as the West's favourite bogeyman they can now go back to evil Russians as the bad guys.

dalsh327
If she isn't the next Bond girl then Sam Mendes should be shot. Yup, Duff's wife made that happen. http://www.susanholmes.net/siextras.html

Georgy Zhukov
ISIS is basically an organization on James Bond proportions. DieselDaisy
Anybody else love License to Kill? Might be the grittiest Bond flick ever and Robert Davi was a dope villain.Criminally underrated by most, though I like how it gets its due around here. Great film, not to mention Dalton is underrated as Bond in general. Most people act like LTK is an abomination. Most people are stupid when it comes to Bond films.BastardTim looks like the cat that got the cream.

Facekicker
Never realised this was a song by The Pretenders. Used to great effect throughout The Living Daylights
Powerage5
Has anyone ever read the books? Thinking of starting them. I've read Casino Royale, Live And Let Die, and Moonraker so far. Think I'm gonna start Diamonds Are Forever soon. They're easy reads, but also enjoyable. Casino Royale is my favorite so far.
Duff27
In regards to the poll, Sean Connery.
Powerage5
I watched Casino Royale this morning for the first time in probably a year. Goddamn, what a good fucking movie. Skyfall is my favorite, but CR is a very close second. Surprised no one has caught a little change I made to this thread yet...
DieselDaisy
Has anyone ever read the books? Thinking of starting them. Read them all. Favourites are, Casino Royale, From Russia With Love and Moonraker (which has nothing in common with the film). In general, they are nastier and more sadistic than the films, usually grittier with some excursions to pulp (Dr No, You Only Live Twice). Bond himself is played straight; the comedy is an invention of the films. The novels' characterisation is close to, Dalton's version. You can start anywhere but running through them in order might be a good idea. You can buy big omnibus editions for next to nothing.
streak
Connery was the best. He had it all. Imagine him instead of Craig.Moore was alright but took the pissDalton was very underratedThe aussie fella was shit but not his faultDaniel is good
Georgy Zhukov
It wasn't all Connery though. Terrence Young basically took the uncivilized Scot and turned him into a proper Englishman. He taught Connery how to walk, talk and eat. Fleming wrote in Bond's Scottish heritage because it is a good character flaw.
DieselDaisy
Fleming wrote in Bond's Scottish heritage because it is a good character flaw.HahaAnd then Connery repaid, being turned into Her Majesty's greatest defender, a symbol of Britain and British global power, by, ehh, becoming a SNP supporter! It always struck me as hypocritical considering he lives in the Caribbean.

Casino Royale is my favorite so far.I have read Casino Royale, Live and Let Die, Moonraker, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger and For Your Eyes only (a collection of short stories) I started Diamonds are Forever but didn't finish it.Of those my favourite is probably Casino. Moonraker and From Russia with Love are also very good. From what I understand Fleming planned to kill Bond in From Russia with Love because the series had not really been very successful up until then, but then the novel proved to be a huge success so he brought him back
