The music is the music and although the conductor can interpret it his way, the music is basically the same. In fact my amateur ear would never hear the difference from one to the other so it doesn't matter, unless you want to get technical about it. The main thing to go by is the orchestra. The famous ones will do the best performances and have the best sound quality, but again it's not such a big deal. I bought a lot of stuff on CD, before iTunes and all that and I just used to buy the cheapest one. It all sounded fine to me! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
