ohmygod
Umm this isn't technically a residency. It's a great opportunity for all involved. The hard rock gets to have gnr there for 12 shows. Gnr can play a twelve shows without having to move gear and travel. Also, it's great exposure for gnr because the stay in the same city but play a different crowd every night. there is no dana only zool
well, i, for one, am psyched. i conquered my fear of flying a few weeks ago by flying to... las vegas... so if this means that I have 12 opportunities to see them this year, i'll be damned if i'm not going to down some atavan and get on that plane to see my favorite band/the greatest band ever, led by the greatest frontman ever... W. Axl Rose of Guns N' Fucking Roses!!!!!Awesome dude. Just remember, you're more likely to die in the car ride to the airport then you are in the plane. Once you've arrived to the airport, the safest part of your journey starts. Seeing GNR is an amazing experience, something all hardcore fans need to see before the opportunity is gone.thanks a lot man. "once you've arrived to the airport, the safest part of your journey starts..." never looked at it that way. thanks for that great wisdom!!! Guns n' Swedes
I was happy when I read this. I don't think the touring is postponing a new album at all so they may as well be active in the meantime. If anything, I think it increases the chance of getting any recording done when they're all together in the same place for a month!
chorrada
What do you guys think how much they'll earn out of this?

Dazey
Don't have any problem with this though that may be cos I'm past caring by now. I'm in Vegas from September 30th to October 4th so I'm just a bit pissed I'm going to miss the chance to catch one of the shows.

John Bonham
This is Vega$ -- the band has already been paid. They don't need to sell-out these shows. The hotels just use entertainment like this to draw people into the casino.
KeyserSoze
That poster looks pretty promising for some duff/izzy reunion. who knows, maybe Steven willl show up?
YOUCOULDBEMINE.
I honestly don't care what they do to get a shitload of money though. All I was hoping for was some kind of new music, they could be playing carnivals for all I care. As long as there is new music I'll be satisfied. But hey, who knows? I'll just wait longer, got used to it over the years.

SONOFABITCH
Once, a young S.O.B. flew across country to be at the December 29, 2001 show at the Joint in Vegas. This time, the S.O.B. stays home.
RussTCB
I was originally planning a Vegas trip for the beginning of October. Seeing as GN'R is going to be there in the beginning of November, I may just change my trip to there since it isn't booked yet and it'll be the same price. Powerage5
I'd love to go to a couple, but just can't afford it right now. As it gets closer, if I can find a cheap flight I may do the last two.

surforia
People dissing this have no idea what they are talking about for 2 reasons:1. Gn'R frequently records in Vegas, so this is most likely an indication that the band will be booking studio sessions in Vegas together... lots of bands do something like this while they're recording - plus it's nice to make some coin to pay for studio time.2. Hard Rock is an awesome, awesome spot and The Joint is a sweet venue... those who think it's some sleazy casino, have no clue.
