Band will play the album 'Appetite For Destruction' in its entirety?

They should play AFD front to back on a couple of nights and CD too. Then they could also play mixed sets with a lot of UYI material. But if they're gonna play AFD every night, then it's a joke. Cause Axl could play that album with the old band, but "he doesn't want to because he wants to show what the line-up can do". I mean, what the hell?

And I'm not trolling, but this is just plain weird. I mean, I get it, but I just don't get it.

there's nothing to get. it's not about integrity or his vision for nugnr or anything related to art. it's about money. it's AFD'S anniversary, and he got offered a boat load of money to do an AFD vegas revue for a month in a casino. in that respect, it's like a month of wedding gigs at once, only they don't have to put up with the expensive hassle of moving the band and crew. you should just be happy that Team Brasil was able to score one major contractual victory in getting them to use the word "democracy" in the revue's name.

Celebrate AFD but keep your Slash t-shirts at home.

I won't be surprised if Vince Neil heckles Axl.

LOL Izzy should make sure if he shows he brings a security guard with him! Of course that will cost Axl more money!

I don't even know why I wander in to this section anymore.

Too many annoying cupcakes that need to be banned.

That's probably the goal though - real fans leaving, old fanboys and cupcakes doing their party here.

Still clinging onto the past like sad old men retelling stories of the glory days, it's fucking pathetic

My point is, why waste so much energy on something that they no longer enjoy?

Just seems like a waste of time to me. Go find another band that will fulfill their fanboy needs.

Axl has the right to do what he wants but this is pretty fucking lame... They should celebrate the album by doing a one time show with ethe fab 5 and then go their seperate ways. Peopel could then atleast hear how teh songs were supposed to sound.

And "Think About You" is f'n awesome!

I know, Axl really needs to move on!

I don't see or hear Axl bitching and moaning about the past too often, he's just playing the tunes with people that he wants to play them with

axl is hilarious (and pathetic)

this.

Idiots.

So Metallica playing the black album in its entirety is pathetic also?

No, because 3 members (out of 4) from the current Metallica have participated on the Black album.

So GNR fans should be penalized because Izzy, Slash and Duff decided to quit? Because Adler was fired? Fuck that....

And we all know who's responsible for that. At the end he finally gets what he wanted, a "nostalgic" joke band wich he can use too milk out the past.

Hey, at least now if you wanna see GnR, there's always Vegas

Does Axl will enjoy AFD´s celebration to realese CD alive of this plus another one with news songs?

Does Axl will make news versions the track´s AFD with current lineup band?

My thoughts have not another reason to they play 12 times at the same place without second intentions.

Sorry for mistakes :)

Izzy, slash, and Duff leaving was the penalty for Axl rose being an insufferable dick.

Oh and this:

:rofl-lol: :rofl-lol: :rofl-lol:

Axl's career is officially in the past. Further proof the whole nu time period was one big failure to launch!

i think you grossly overestimate the amount of time and energy it takes to check a message forum. it's not like we're training for the olympics. most of us are having a laugh while we procrastinate at work.

The Activision lawsuit was not about bitching and moaning about the past. The issue is breach of contract. If there was no breach of contract, there would be no lawsuit moving forward.

Furthermore, I don't necessarily buy this "news". If that were the case, I don't think AEG/The Joint would've issued the following statement: "Appetite for Democracy will span the band’s biggest hits from their debut album Appetite for Destruction (1987) through their platinum-selling record Chinese Democracy (2008). Exact details about the show are being kept under wraps but fans can expect the raw and gritty heavy metal Guns N’ Roses is known for along with a few surprise elements. "

Yes it is.

The 'breach of contract' was Axl's disapproval of having Slash on the cover because it is false misrepresentation of Guns N' Roses, which is a joke in itself because he is only playing songs Slash helped write during the Vegas shows. Sounds a little contradictory right?

So the guy that is by far the most responsible for the album shouldn't do anything to celebrate it, but if Slash grabbed Gilby and did the same thing you morons would cream your panties in a heartbeat? The fucking stupidity here is astronomical.

Hopefully it replaces the covers.
