HisRoyalSweetness Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 (edited) yeah, this story sounds totally made up. there's simply no way i can believe that a promoter could give pretty girls backstage passes to a rock concert. it's also totally outside the realm of possibility that any band members would want to party with pretty girls they meet backstage. especially on a tour bus. bands never let girls on the bus, right? this whole story sounds so outlandish and fishy. But overall i buy it. Wasnt there a story is slashs book about how axl slept for a while in slashs grandmas house and when slash told him he couldnt stay there anymore he jumped out of a moving car? I may be mixing stories up.

There's probably dozens of issues Duff, Slash, and Axl have brought to them every year regarding the GNR back catalog. I can imagine wanting some company and real contact without it having a sexual purpose.

This story isn't out to hate on the band, just sounds like an excited girl telling her story. I bet some of it is twisted, like the length of time through being star struck. Perhaps Slash came up in conversation as he was playing the festival also??? There's loads of axl with girls after a show so it makes it believable, dunno about the tour bus but hey, at the end of the day the story is Axl and DJ ashba spoke to some girls. WOW. Shock, horror.
