I love The Simpsons, they paved the way. I enjoy watching them and having a good laugh, but Southpark is my pick. I am only going on which show makes me laugh out loud the most.

South Park, by a long way.

I loved you Sandy.

Simpsons got stale for me! I enjoyed the period more than anything when they could actually animate, before it became "modern" - but I just prefer South Park in the main.

Now, for sure.

Well yeah. I mean I just think of the Simpsons as two separate shows: old and new. Old being my favourite show of all time, hands down and new being a stack of shite higher than the Empire State Building. Always being a huge South Park fan since 1998. It was perfect watching that shit at 9 years old.

I really liked te Simpsons when I was younger, but south park has more to offer in humor and commentary. It can be simultaneously as low brow as it gets and as high brow.

Simpsons over South Park, if I was to pick one, but I like that Matt and Trey can just take something going on right now, and have the episode out in a few days.

Groening just ended "Life In Hell" a couple of months ago, which was sad to hear, who had been a part of the LA Reader and LA Weekly for a long ass time. The guy's pretty cool, he was a fixture at Comic Con for years like Kevin Smith, even though he was wealthy as hell and didn't have to do Bart Simpson doodles for the fans, he still did it.

He never got Zappa on The Simpsons, but he is getting Tom Waits.

But here's the Father of The Simpsons interviewing The Mother of Invention:

You know, they're not for kids. Especially South Park.

They might have adult content but a cartoons a cartoon and when you're about 15 you tend to not so much be interested in cartoon type shit, i suppose you have to watch it a few times before you get it's an adult thing and i just never did so...

It all boils down to storytelling. Sometimes a story is better in the hands of animators.
