Nosaj Thing
With Slash solo project we've got: Nightrain, Welcome The Jungle, Out Ta Get Me, Paradise City, It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone, Patience, You're Crazy, My Michelle, Civil War, Sweet Child O' Mine, Rocket Queen and The Godfather Theme performed by the only lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses. I think that's worth it.
gunsfanoldie
He seemed to be clear last night that there would be a bit of a break, at least in the US. Every time I had seen him he had said "We'll see you later this year" or give an exact month. Since this was his 3rd time in the New York area since May, he said very clearly "We'll probably see you next year." Could just be wishful thinking or actually planning to come back already next year. Either way, I think he's toured enough at this point that if he wants to tour these areas again, he should have a new album out. Or change the set up considerably. mrandyk
God, I hope so. Why?Because I want THEM to dust off their VR jackets. But, it looks like VRIII is not going to happen. It's been looking that way for years now. They need a singer, and even when the guys all give their focus to VR they can't agree on one. Velvet Revolver is dead. No, there's no new singer in sight. And Slash already said he's working on a new album with Myles & Conspirators. We already had a VR reunion mini show anyway.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45RjoJay4Lo
jmapelian
The AL tour's only been going on for 5 months now; I'm guessing it's a long way from being finished; hopefully we get another NYC date in the winter

Slash's solo stuff barely does anything for me. Get Slash back in a BAND. VR has unfinished business.Slash tour will continue into 2013 and then another new album in 2014.Slash has been very open with his fans in regard to future plans. Then why doesn't Slash be open and tell us that VR no longer?? This band does a much better job of playing GNR tunes, VR tunes and Slash's few good solo songs than VR did/would have.

Myles Kennedy sings Slither and Fall to Pieces better live than Scott did. Duff would be nice, but Todd Kerns is a vital part of this band. That means nothing really in the grand scheme of things. 2.) I disagree. MK goes through the motions when singing GNR/VR songs. He looks like he's up for a karaoke contest or American Idol. MK cannot perform songs like Slither without making me cringe. It would be like Will Smith becoming a gangster rapper.

Scott needs Slither downtuned before he can sing it. How pathetic is that? And let's not even get into Scott singing GNR songs, the only ones he even attempts are ISE, Brownstone and Patience.VR showed with Libertad and the subsequent tour that they were finished as a band. I don't see why anyone would want them back when we have this far superior band.

C'mon, when you go to a show, are you really paying attention to whether or not the musician is in key or not? The reason why Slither sounds so cool is because it is tuned down. It has attitude. I agree that Libertad was pretty weak. But I think that the shows on that tour were some of the best raw rock-n-roll shows that I've seen despite the tension within the band. (At least the ones that I saw).

Carne_asaDA
Even though I don't really like FTP...If you don't like FTP, you don't like VR.The other 2 ballads on that album blow FTP out of the water. Usually, it's the first 2 songs of a debut album that defines who and what kind of band that band is.
