Nobody
I saw one of the Axl cards before a long time ago on ebay . The person said that the cards were inside Axl's house (during the Illusions era) for people to grab by the door when they left . He claims he was there to do work on the house and grabbed one for himself upon leaving . That being said, don't know if there's ANY truth to that at all !His card didn't have the hole punched in the upper left corner though, otherwise it was exactly the same. With the old program I was using (Yahoo Pagebuilder) I couldn't figure it out. With Yahoo SiteBuilder it's very easy and there are other great features that would have saved me hundreds of hours had I used it all along. Eventually every page will have thumbnails.I saw one of the Axl cards before a long time ago on ebay . troccoli
Oh, another real cool one I forgot to list: http://www.troccolitm.com/MarqueeFlyer.htmlA flyer from the Marquee advertising the first international GNR shows. Of course, it looks like some fo the dates they played eventually changed. Also, what do you guys think of this: http://www.troccolitm.com/2CDLiveEraPro.htmlThe quality all seems legit, but 1996? Could be a misprint I suppose. Also, different catalog numbers for each cd? I don't know.
Almost Famous
I think Live Era was in the works for a few years prior to the actual release. Spent most of the time tracking down all their DATS and such to use for the album.

Spent most of the time tracking down all their DATS and such to use for the album.OK, but would they have overdubbed it by 1996?You could listen to it - if it's got Axl's re-recorded vocals (end of Nightrain, most of My Michelle, etc) then that might be one way of working out if it's either fake or a misprint. Song sources and what parts have been re-recorded. If you are familiar with Guns N' Roses bootlegs from that period, once you read the descriptions of what has been re-recorded you'll be able to tell right away where Axl's voice changes. Also, if you check out some of the bootleg sources (like how Sweet Child came from Paris 1992), you'll find it musically identical save for Axl's vocals. Think most of the instruments were left alone, just some mistakes patched (using Sweet Child as an example again, Duff flubbed the intro on the original Paris 1992 recording but it was patched for the release). As for Rocket Queen, I'm guessing the missing Izzy guitar is/was just a mistake. There's a lack of of Izzy guitar when the opening riff of Brownstone starts too, but that might have actually been a live mistake that was left alone. Live it´s hard to hear those vocal details, specially on boots, and studio work can make it clear. but it makes sense what is described on the post, and i guess it´s right. though, i believe slash sais somewhere that there were no overdubs... but i´ll listen to it, and likely confirm your opinion.they jerked off so much with the songs, that forgot to put izzy´s guitar... fuck...and i had noticed that the bass on scom was edited, it´s obvious.somoene should ask slash what he knows about it... I could be wrong though. I figured what he meant was none of the guys went into a studio to re-record their parts a la KISS Alive. The patches that were made were probably just taken from another performance or fixed with a computer in the studio. Maybe that might be a question for the Canter Banter section in case Marc knows anything.

troccoli
Wow, clearly it takes me a while to respond to things, but I do respond at least. As for the Hall of Fame cd, I don't know since it's sealed and I have no plans on opening it. As for the Live Era 1996, I have posted all the tracks on 4shared but you need to have an account to view/hear/download them.

Nobody
I have the Hall of Fame cd and mine is opened. It's basically a "best of" mix of the bands that were inducted, with a couple songs from each band. The cd starts off with Welcome To the Jungle and Sweet Child is also on it too. It's got Give it Away & Under the Bridge from the Chili Peppers etc.
