Mainly because he stuck to the script and avoided sounding like MM drowning. Good job Ax. Given what I've seen, seems Axl has improved endurance, is more prepared, and cares more than last leg. Looks like from the pic, the reserved does go up on an incline. No seat is farther than 155 feet away, so it may look far, but it really isn't. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. When you are there, it is not as noticeable, and I would just be happy for an energetic show with Axl's b or C game, but looks like we are already there, and is only gonna get better from here.Going to become increasingly harder for the haters to keep up the rhetoric. Other than an occasional off night or when he's sick or whatever, I think Axl can turn it on and off, way more than people think. I just think he has to hold back the older he gets, and can't do a three hour show with full on rasp in every song, so he has been reign it in and be more selective when he uses it... Lethalis Posted November 2, 2012 Share Posted November 2, 2012 Well, I watched some video's in this topic.. and I have to say: Axl is performing a lot better than before on that thing with Neil Young.I guess he really was sick, or didn't warm up / prepare enough.It's just Axl being Axl: always messes up the first few shows of a tour but becomes a lot better after that.He really needs to release some new music though.. it's getting boring to listen to the same songs over and over again. I might see them again when they come to my country, but visiting this message board.. jesus, that's just frustrating."Maybe they're going to do something new this time" .. NOOOOOOOO!
