sascha Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 The closest we get is November Rain but don't you think just him alone at the piano for a song would be awesome? What song could he do?
Bumble's Bridge Pickup Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 In theory it's a good idea but in reality it probably would expose his not so great voice even more.

Snowmass Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 (edited) Here ya go- And he could do this with piano only too- Edited November 16, 2012 by Snowmass
username Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 (edited) In theory it's a good idea but in reality it probably would expose his not so great voice even more.This. Plus, if he'd really try to show off vocally he might strain his voice even more.Plus, to be honest, there is generally little place for an a capella vocal solo in a rock show. So you'd just get another piano/vocal song. GnR already has those. Edited November 16, 2012 by username
evader Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I wouldn't mind hearing Axl do "This I Love", with just him and a piano - not every show, but you know...once.

A lot of things about the present day GnR are a matter of opinion. People can agree or disagree. But saying Axl still has a (consistently) great voice is just plain untrue. You either need to check yourself in with an ear doctor or a mental institution. Take your pick.
WhazUp Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I would love to hear Axl to a solo show with piano doing tunes like NR, Dust In The Wind, It's Alright, etc. granted his voice is up to par
Ragnar Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I want to hear Axl`s solo album just him rhythm guitar, acoustic guitar and piano no keyboards, synthesizers or any other instruments wonder what he would come up with
GnR Chris Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 (edited) I've always yearned for an acoustic record or Axl Rose solo piano record. I know we'll never get it. Here would be the songs I'd want with Axl alone on piano."Sweet Child O' Mine""Don't Cry""Street of Dreams""Catcher in the Rye""This I Love""Madagascar""Prostitute""Patience""Estranged""Dust in the Wind" (the cover you see on youtube)"Civil War""Breakdown""November Rain"I would be infinitely satisfied if something like this were to happen. I wish Axl over the last decade plus would have tossed the fans a bone and released something like this for the fans. Edited November 16, 2012 by GnR Chris
Chris1989 Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I would love to hear some of Axl's guitar. We know from quotes and shows he has the ability to play a bit - some say more than a bit - and I would really like to know his style.
KiraMPD Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 A version of Don't Cry adapted onto piano would be nice...
