Have I been banned from posting comments on people's profiles/status updates?

People can disable comments on their profile. Maybe you tried it on one where it's disabled

I checked about 10 different profiles, and just noticed that I can't reply to any of the statuses on the sidebar, hence the edit.

I was able to reply to statuses yesterday, and the only thing I've done in between the time I was able to and now that might result in mod punishment was make that thread.
