Anybody else wish Zeppelin would reform and tour just to destroy The Stones and U2's touring records?

Watching the Stones and U2 duke it out for the touring record just makes me sad. Neither band was ever truly the undisputed biggest band in the world like Zeppelin were. Both just managed to stick around forever. It kind of reminds me of when Hank Aaron had the Home Run record after playing forever.

The Stones live show today embarrasses the Zeppelin reunion show from a few years ago.

Why do you say that? (although personally speaking, I believe Jason Bonham was the real star of that show)

The videos I've seen from the recent Stones shows have been great. The Zeppelin reunion sounded pretty bad.

Weird reason to want Zep to reform :drevil:

I'd prefer they do it for the love of the jam and to appease the insane plea of the fanbase.

This.

But I fear old man Percy can't sustain that type of singing for a whole tour anymore.

Walking into Clarksdale tour was probably his last hurrah with singing Zep material.

Yeah, Plant isn't on top but the vocal melodies are much more hard to sing, than Stones. Btw Page and JPJ did a very good job (jason is good too)

if this sounded pretty bad to you, maybe you're delusional or a musical snob

Isn't Robin Plants dead?

His name is Robert Plant you mental sickfuck and he isn't dead

Irrelevant. The Stones videos were pleasant to listen to while the Zeppelin videos sounded like a croaking old man. I know which one I'd rather pay upwards of $300 to see.
