Vincent Vega Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Do you think any members of GN'R will ever sing lead vocals on a song on the next album or an album beyond the next? Similar to the way Izzy does lead vox on like 3 songs on the UYIs and Duff sings one?
bacardimayne Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Tommy's the only one I could see it working with.
Sprite Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Pitman's backup vocals on welcome to the jungle and superb dancing skills should warrant him at least on live cover..
Redhead74 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Don't care. I'm only interested in hearing Axl.In fact, I hope not, because at the rate that we are getting music I want as much as possible coming from Axl's voice, no one elses.
dalsh327 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Maybe there are songs that they sang lead on. And for that matter, why hasn't Axl sang background on Bumblefoot or Tommy's solo albums?
James Bond Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 As much as Bumblefoot's guitar playing doesn't do it for everyone, he's got a great singing voice. That said, I don't think anybody should sing lead except Axl, but I'd be all for Bumblefoot doing some prominent backing vocals.
Tyler Drama Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Tommy and Dizzy sing the "Yeah there was a time, didn't wanna know it all, etc." part on There Was A Time (Axl doesn't sing any of that part). So they'll probably sing on the next record. Also, I feel like Bumblefoot will have some lead parts.
Uncle Bob Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Please no. No more concerts with new songs that actually aren't from GN'R
Guest Gunns Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Going Down has some Tommy vocals.your the second person I've heard say that
bran Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 i love bumblefoots voice i think it would be cool to hear him sing a song with axl doing backup vocals
wfse Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Going Down has some Tommy vocals. How do you know?
Powerage5 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Tommy and Dizzy sing the "Yeah there was a time, didn't wanna know it all, etc." part on There Was A Time (Axl doesn't sing any of that part). So they'll probably sing on the next record. Also, I feel like Bumblefoot will have some lead parts.Would love to have some Bumble vocals on the next album. IMO, he should've done one of the harmony parts on Shackler's for the album, it sounds great live!
Bruno P. Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Going Down has some Tommy vocals. That's why I was excited to hear it live. But we have to wait even more... damnit.

I mean, who blends better with you than yourself?
Dariablue Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Surprisingly enough, this:Don't care. I'm only interested in hearing Axl.In fact, I hope not, because at the rate that we are getting music I want as much as possible coming from Axl's voice, no one elses..
