Vincent Vega Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Do you think Pitman should get a solo song, wherein he plays all the instruments and creates sort of an ambient noise track, on the next album? Think how You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory on TSI was all Duff.
Bansidhe Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Aye why not. I'm all up for some amusing noises.
ShadowOfTheWave Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 (edited) As long as it's his ambient noise, not some guy in another country's. Edited December 5, 2012 by ShadowOfTheWave
Guest NewGNRnOldGNR Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I don't think Chris Pitman's computers will feature like with CD. There'll be a lot less technology, more tradition, I believe Pitman will adopt a writing role like West Arkeen. But more or less be silent on the actual album.
bax Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 What i'd like to hear would be an album that is one long track with synth-oriented parts connecting one song to the next.
downzy Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 No. The last thing the current GNR show needs is more solos. If you want to stop giving Dizzy a solo and replace it with Pitman, that's fine, but the show is long enough that having everyone featured would only test the patience of the audience.

Damn_Smooth Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Pitman should've been fired long ago. Just because he out-trannies bloated Duff doesn't mean that he should be forgiven for If The World.
Rovim Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I really liked the synth part in the Catcher In The Rye demo. Really cool stuff. Hopefully, we'll get more of that in the future.
Guest NewGNRnOldGNR Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 get the fuck out of here. pitman puts the nu in nugnr. That he does. But does Axl want to continue the 'Nu' direction of GN'R or return to a sound more akin to its roots? I feel with the inclusion of DJ the answer is the latter.
