Are you trying to argue that they are? You should have some sort of proof like, the amount of followers doubling or increasing dramatically to suggest a a large sum being purchased. Unless you want ot get even more dumb about it and claim was methodically increasing his followers one at a time in his evil agenda to have more followers than Axl.

Oh, I thought me pointing out that another (former) GN'R band member who is also known for buying twitter accounts already has a star (!), would serve as a great nugget of information in this thread. I saw no reason why the phenomena of buying stars would only be interesting if it was about Dj. But okay, your thread.

I see no other way a twitter account could accumulate such a substantial amount of fake followers except when someone actually, consciously, bought them. No, I am not going to claim he has been buying them one at a time, but perhaps like 50k at a time? Or something like that. I dunno.

So perhaps Slash used a more stealthy approach to getting his 39 % of fake followers whereas Dj just bought them all in one bulk?

Given that it is actually merited, and therefore quite far into the very hypothetical future, then yes, Axl should and could do it.

Somebody has to nominate a celebrity, then a selection process takes place.

Somebody nominated Slash. The selection committee deemed him worthy. A star was awarded. You can't just go buy one.

Inactive followers could be bots that do not login to spam anymore, but they also are genuine twitter users that did not login for a long time. Judging by Axl's good/active followers numbers I'm pretty sure that most inactive are real users. Slash's got much more fake/inactive users than real/good/active users, so in reality both should be pretty close on real numbers. And Axl follows no one.
