Brian Jones was overrated..he wrote nothing for the Stones and they wrote their best material when he was basically out of the band....If Ronnie is a fine musician and had not joined the Stones they may not exist today....

Not like they've done anything worth listening to since Taylor left.

Not as good as the 1968-1972 material but still some decent music IMHO......

What about songs like Street Fighting Man, Ruby Tuesday (the song's signature flute playing by Brian), Paint it Black (the song's main hook on the sitar played by Brian), Lady Jane (the song's main lead hook on the hammered dulcimer provided by Brian as well as harpsichord parts), No Expectations (the main hook of the song, the slide guitar, by Brian), 2000 Lightyears from Home (mellotoron and other instruments), Donchta Bother Me (slide guitar), Let's Spend the Night Together (piano and organ parts), Under My Thumb (the main hook of the song, the marimbas, by Brian), Child of the Moon, I Am Waiting (hammered dulcimer by Brian), Dandelion (saxophone and oboe by Brian), Out of Time (Marimbas by Brian), She's a Rainbow (mellotoron by Brian) and tons of other songs in which Brian's musical contribution basically made the song? Paint It Black really wouldn't be the same song without Brian's sitar work driving the song, Street Fighting Man wouldn't be the same without his sitar, mellotoron and tambura work, Lady Jane wouldn't be the same without his hammered dulchimer and harpsichord parts. Most of those songs are basically driven by a musical hook by Brian.....I really, really doubt Keith wrote all of those parts. And Bill Wyman claims he and Brian wrote the riff to Jumpin' Jack Flash.

And the Stones should've quit back in 1990.
