At this year’s NAMM show, Vigier, pioneers of carbon fibre technology released the long sought after ‘DoubleBfoot’ – Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal’s signature double neck guitar. The Glow Inc.
Well...I can tell you right here and now that it's likely going to be a VERY expensive guitar.Single necks Vigier, Excalibur / GV usually are around 3000 euros ( 4000 dollars ) so I would see this in the 5000 euros ( 6700 dollars ) range. Nosaj Thing
That guitar is awful IMO. I like this one:
bacardimayne
I'm not a fan of Ron's tone. It works for the Don't Cry solo, but not much else.
Chewbacca
Awesome. It's been a long time since I saw a stock guitar equipped with a killswitch.
Bulldog
Beautiful guitar but his tone...not so much. It would still be a great guitar to own.
izzydoezit
Jokes aside, I wonder if anyone will buy it.I was wondering exactly the same thing. It's a double neck guitar with one fretless fingerboard. That's like two niche markets in one. I'd say they'll be lucky if they sell 30-50 guitars. Young_Gun
Very nice. I emailed Ron years ago asking if they were going to make one but he said it would probably be too expensive. If I were still passionate about guitars I would purchase one, hell I already spent a shit load anyway...
