Vincent Vega
This song is the closest we ever got to a real Beatles reunion. The lineup on this song is:Ringo Starr - lead vocals, drumsJohn Lennon - harmony vocals, pianoGeorge Harrison - lead guitarBilly Preston - organKlaus Voorman - bass guitar John wrote the song for Ringo. What do you think? dalsh327
The good thing is that they were able to just get together and hang out without being Beatles. I think now we can hear why there wouldn't have been a Beatles reunion from what they were each working on. Maybe Lennon's Rock and Roll would've been the reunion album. Vincent Vega
I actually think GN'R should reunite with a new band. Like, Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff just get together in a totally new band without all the "Guns N' Roses" baggage.
luciusfunk
Anthologies weren't just as close? Lennon's lost weekend was a good opportunity for a reunion.

Too much pressure and crazy expectations on it living up to the back catalog.
Zint
The closest they ever got to an actual reunion was after the Saturday Night Live skit where they were offered a thousand dollars (I think it was a thousand, offhand) to reunite on the show.John and Paul thought it was hilarious and wanted to do it, Ringo was in...George poo-pooed the idea.It was that close,

Um are you forgetting Free as a Bird?
luciusfunk
And then George showed up trying to claim the money, didn't he?

Like, Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff just get together in a totally new band without all the "Guns N' Roses" baggage. But that's Gn'R right there, so it would probably sound like Gn'R anyway. No matter how you'll name it. Edited February 14, 2013 by Rovim
