alfierose Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Hi MarcI've always wondered whether Axl (or even other Gnr members) had considered signing and managing up and coming artists at any point? It's something a lot of other successful artists have done, Jay-z, Madonna, Justin Timberlake etc...I could imagine this having been a good career move and positive focus for someone like Axl particularly as he has always seemed interested in the business side of things. Thanks
jman2000 Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 I don't think Axl is interested in the shitty music people play now.
alfierose Posted February 17, 2013 Author Posted February 17, 2013 I'm sure there are bands out there that he would enjoy.

gunsfanoldie Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 If he didn't like any of the shitty music out there today, I'd like to know the realize he uses countless opening bands for GNR nowadays. I have to assume he likes/approvals of most of them. Not that I agree but there are a number of bands he could sign.
Cosmo Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 He should sign Wolfmother. They've gone independent as a last resort. I bet he likes 'em.
