Why did the '70s Punkers so hate Led Zeppelin & The Rolling Stones?

Because by 1976/7, both Stones and Zep were millionaires with private jets and supermodel girlfriends. Jagger was living life as a Parisian socialite by then. They had lost touch with any reality and their fanbase. Also, Zep had artistic pretensions and were doing things like 30mins drum solos and guitar solos and things.

Cuz by the late 70s a large part of their fanbase consisted of people like you Miser

And by this you mean phony bastards who pretend to be from utterly different countries and backgrounds depending on their internet persona...Oh wait...that's you.

Oooooooohhh, just watch his balls grow

Yes...but...supermodel girlfriends...

Well punks had their, punk rocker girlfriends.

Were the punks jealous though? I think they looked at Jagger, mincing along to disco-rock, and Plant, with a fruit stuffed down his jumpsuit, and thought: ''what a couple of plonkers - what a couple of titheads''.

Led Zeppelin's roadies were better musicians then most punk rockers were............

They were, but that is sort of the point.

I dunno, i think there's something to be said for the perfection of simplicity. There are people who are WAAAAY better musicians in a technical sense, people that come out of these posh music schools and what have you, than most hardcore bands but you stick em in Minor Threat and see if they can keep up. Horses for courses, it's like saying Segovias a better guitar player than Chuck Berry, it shows a lack of respect for and understanding of what it is to play an instrument, better in what aspect of playing? It's a rich and wide and varied thing, there's are people that could knock out a fuckin' jazz solo and blow your head off with it that perhaps wouldn't be able to play with the steadiness and the muscle of the way that someone like Steve Jones played, i think it was Bill Price who called him "the tightest guitar player i have ever seen".

Just depends what you're looking for i guess. This is part of what sucked about that old 70s pre-punk guitarist/musician, the way they'd ended up with this thing where it's like, OK, you've got to be THIS kind of guitarist to be considered good, to the exclusion of all the other ways of doing it, it's ridiculous, it's snobbery, it's bullshit. To which i suppose the answer could be that punk was like that too only with it's more simplistic approach, just as militant but then at least then there's two options and that creates a balance. The fact that people ended up liking and enjoying and aligning themselves with the simplistic one is just a case of, well, the people have spoken i guess, what you gonna do now, tell people what they're allowed to like?

By the mid 70s music was the preserve of fuckin' trainspotters that watched The Old Grey Whistle Test. Imagine going to a kids youth club and ELP playing over the system, cor, there's a soundtrack to a fuckin' youth, eh?

So the point is many of the punk bands could not play their instruments and the music was shite?

If your apparent estimation of what amounts to being able to play an instrument was the standard there'd very little music being played in the world.

Rock n roll is simple music, the muso brigade of the 70s just made it a boring fuckin Grandads thing, totally unexciting and boring and stale and lost in endless noodling and periphery, its why every new musical movement is borne of simplicity, such are the foundations of music, what was beautiful about rock n roll when it kicked off was anybody could pick up a guitar and do it, the 70s muso's tried to kill that and got wiped out as a result and rightly so.
