Would it be possible for GNR to have their own Sirius XM channel?

With the recent news that Sirius XM will be launching "Bon Jovi Radio", it got me thinking about how great it would be to have a GNR channel. There's already "Elvis Radio", "E Street Radio", "Pearl Jam Radio", "Grateful Dead Channel", "The Pink Floyd Channel", "Neil Diamond Radio" etc ... so why not "Paradise City Radio"? They already broadcast one of the Vegas shows live on Sirius, right?

I think the music is popular enough that there would be demand for it, but the only question is whether or not there's enough *released* songs to sustain a listening audience 24/7. I suppose they could also include non-GNR music performed by former GNR members, but that would obviously open up a whole can of worms.

Does Bon Jovi own "Bon Jovi Radio"? Or, is that all Sirius XM?

Sirius is the one launching the channel, I'm not sure how the royalties will be allocated to the band.

The other Sirius channels dedicated to specific bands have a lot more content than just released songs.

"E Street Radio" includes concert broadcasts, rare archival recordings as well as insider reports and breaking news.

"Pearl Jam Radio" includes archival concerts, unreleased material from the group's personal music library and side projects, including solo and pre-Pearl Jam music; band member interviews with writers, filmmakers, artists, musicians and activists; and curated programming by band members, including a limited-run series hosted by Eddie Vedder .

The thing with a station like Pearl Jam radio is that PJ has an incredible amount of recorded live shows to the point where the stream of live material is endless. Mix that in with a crazy amount of demos and B-sides along and the station has a lot to draw from. Not to mention interviews done on the station with band members, sound engineers, etc. Eddie Vedder even hosted the show for an hour and a half one day

With GNR you don't have that many live shows, and not a crazy amount of B-sides. Plus interviews can pretty much be counted out too. I can't see it happening

It would never get the go ahead and even if it did it would probably be randomly canceled at any given moment.. Not trying to bash them as I think it would be really cool but based on recent history of things being aired it's a non starter.
