I've met the current line up, met Velvet Revolver minus scott and slash a few other times but just for singings.

The coolest time was probably Tommy before the london concert last year, as he done some acoustic songs in the streets. Then in a few in a bar afterwards. I met a few of them at an airport in 2010 and met them all several times outside the venue, also that meet n greet in london also with BBF that was cool.

Me and my dad had literally just got to the Hard Rock in Vegas and thrown our stuff in the room, and decided to wander/go out and get hammered. We step out of the elevator and meet Ron :D

He was super cool, took some photos, talked about music/guns for 5 mins or so, and he tweeted a picture of my tattoo! That was super fuckin' cool, pretty much made the trip before the shows even happened

I met Ron, DJ, and Slash. All were awesome although meeting Ron was really special because he agreed top hang out with me before the last Detroit show. He let me play his guitar and hung out with us for like 45 minutes. The guy can't be any nicer and r really goes our of hits way to be good to his fans.

DJ i met at a meet and and greet event by Detroit promoting his Dodge challenger. Nice guy and offered me a jager bomb. He was pretty excited to see the GNR stuff i brought too.

Slash took a couple of tries. I saw him at grand rapids in may and my friend and i had a connection to his assistant. We got to stray in a vip area that show. John 5 and a fee guys from rob zombies band and megadeth were in our area too but sadly, slash want feeling good after the show. We had better luck a few months later at the Detroit show and slash's guy managed to get us into the meet and greet. Slash was cool add hell and really nice. Was awesome to meet one of my biggest musical heroes.

Hopefully i can meet duff and axl one day along with all the other current and past members

I had the pleasure to go backstage at a Houston concert. I was lucky enough to get an after show pass! I got to meet and hang with Ron, DJ, Richard,Frank, Tommy, and Beta. In Vegas a couple months ago, I bumped into Frank while eating breakfast. And had an awesome chat with Richard outside the Hard Rock.

When I "met" Slash, it was outside his tourbus (he had like 4 of them). I was at the concert and decided to wait by the bus for 20 minutes after the show. Slash came out from the venue after 10 minutes with 5-6 security guys who immediately announced we were not allowed to take any photos and that he would sign one item only for everyone.

I was kind of surprised by how we were not allowed to take any photos. I've seen videos on here where Axl has been taking photos with people, signing stuff, talking and who let people film the whole thing. Slash basically didn't talk at all.

First time I saw them in Portugal I met DJ, Richard, Ron and Del before the show. Then I was lucky enough to get an after show pass and met Ron again.

It always amazes me how many people get these VIP aftershow party access, How do you guys get hold of these passes? is there some sort of secret club or something cause there's no way you get them from the band members themselves, yet you go on there list. I've never needed one to meet the members but it would cool just to chill out after the show and get the fancy sticker!

I met Ron, Dj, and Axl at the Philly UCAP show. WMMR (Philly classic rock radio station) interviewed Ron from inside the club about 5 minutes before the doors opened. By the time I got my spot on the rail, he and his wife were chilling out on the floor, taking pics with people and just kinda hanging out. I didn't chat with hin long, 'cause I didn't want to lose my front row spot.

The Electric Factory is notorious for being the best place in Philly to meet bands after shows, 'cause the stage door area is really accessible and well lit. When the show got out, I headed straight for the barriers by the door (with Real McCoy, GNRSkidRow1, about 10-15 other fans, and a handfull of asshole eBayers) to try to meet the band. After about half an hour, Dj came out apparently just to smoke a cigarette, and he wound up signing and taking pics for a bit. He was very good natured and friendly, signed just about everything put in front of him. He didn't take his time or linger, but clearly took this part of his job seriously and approached it with grace.

Frank, Tommy, Dizzy, and Richard came out together. Frank and Richard were clearly hurried, but stopped to talk and sign for a bit. Unfortunately, both of them wound up mostly signing for the dealers and very few of us actual fans got to interact with them. Dizzy hardly even acknowledged the crowd. Tommy was carrying a couple water bottles and refused to put them down or stop, even when his wife said she'd take the stuff so he could. Those two totally lived up to their "Mr. Nice Guy" reputations with that....

Ron came out a short while later, and won the crowd over completely. The dude had to skip a bunch of the show because his back was more fucked up than usual. Most of the fans had decided not to ask him to sign anything and just to let him leave. He had other plans. Signed every photo, took every picture that was asked for, chatted with us for about half an hour, and was just amazing. Jennifer litterally had to pull the car over and pull him away, 'cause I guess he had a doctor's appointment in the morning. Just an unreal experience getting to spend so much time with Ron, and he was clearly loving it as much as we were.

Around 4:00am, Fernando came out, had security throw out as many eBay dealers as possible, and told us that as long as we were patient and calm, Axl would do his best to sign for everyone. About 10 or 20 minutes later, the man himself came out.

I don't know where the perception of him as an aloof asshole comes from, 'cause he was the nicest guy. Did his best to get everyone he could, chatted his way down the line, and even took some individual photos despite Fernando telling him not to. He and I chatted very briefly. I told him I'd been trying to see GNR since their 2002 tour, and he said something like "Yeah, and I've been trying to get back to Philly since then too. Guess our patience paid off for both of us." He took a group photo with all of us who had waited for him, shook some more hands, and left. He hardly ever stopped smiling while he was out there with us. I headed for home around 5am having been at the Electric Factory since 10am the previous day (had to be sure I'd be front row). I have about 500 items in my autograph collection, and this is easily in my top 3. Love it to fuckin' death. I still have trouble believing that night really happened.

Met Bumblefoot at the after show in Hamilton 2011. Met Tommy at a solo gig last year. Both were extremely nice!

Also met Beta and Del James at the after show in Hamilton 2011. Didn't get a picture with Del, he was in a hurry and just had a chance to say hi to him. Spent maybe about an hour chatting with Beta, along with Eric, Gunsguy, Jarmo, etc. She's great!
