The most "nostalgic" sounding GN'R song?

Vincent Vega

What song or songs most makes you have a sense of nostalgia?

For me:

The Garden - I just think of my childhood in a weird way, that a lot of my childhood years were like this illusory garden, seeming so wonderful but not really all that great upon closer examination. I try to imagine the turbulent summer of 1991, my first summer, and the events that went down in my house. It fts.

Don't Damn Me- Musically the bridge ("I know you don't wanna hear me cryin'") gives the same effect as The Garden. As nostalgic as I get for the past, I realize I'm just using my illusions.

TWAT - TWAT leaked as I was going through a painful breakup and I listened to it every single day because I could connect with it so well at the time. Not positive nostalgia but still.

Bad Obsession and Get In The ring remind me of my high school years

Nightrain hits me hard for it, it always reminds me of the times when you're with your best friends and it's like the night is never going to end yet at the same time you feel as though there won't be another night like it and sure enough as time passes it becomes true and all you have are the memories of carefree times.

Paradise.. Excellent after booty call song.

Nightrain.. Excellent pre-gaming song.

Out Ta Get Me!

In high school I had long black hair past my shoulders and was a jock - go figure. People compared me to that type o negative dude. I'd wear band shirts, rocked my gnronline.com shirt lol. I got caught smoking in the boys room, thanks look out friend that froze up, haha. Was being led to the principle's office, faked a stomach bug, said I had to throw up. Ran back to the bathroom. Faked throwing up, teacher told me to wait while he got the principle. He never got my name.

Snuck out, drove home. Changed into my preppiest A N' F gear I had, tied my hair back in a pony tale, put on my glasses... Blasted the fuck out of 'Out Ta Get Me the entire ride, and while changing... Went back to school... went to my next class after free period. Principle and teacher come to my class, pull me out. Ask me if I was in the boys room smoking... Calmly said: I don't even smoke... and they let me go back to class.

Have no idea how I pulled that off but it was fun.

SCOM, because it was like the only song anywhere played as I was getting into them.

YCBM -THE song that got me into them when I saw it on TV.

Better - Reminds me of the CD leaks of 2006, and for some reason when the album came out, whenever I got in my car Shackler's was just ending or Better was already on.

The Garden whithout hesitation, it remind me a lot a stuff. Because this garden represent a context/place I thought was like heaven, it seemed so awesome until one day in summer, when I became the poor boy who took a chance and I had the soul broken.

The lyrics fit so much with my feelings before and when I was in this garden that I could have written them exactly like Axl did.

Paradise City - Sun is coming up and we're on the road home after an all night party.

Knocking on Heaven's Door - Singing along to this song on the radio while driving to a beach party.

November Rain - lying in bed and realizing that that relationship was over.
