What is the point of mederation in this section? We are hidden from everything, and nobody can even see the section if they are not a member. I don't know if new mods hold personal grudges, want to impress their friends, or just don't have the testicular fortitude for the section, but the mantra that the regular posters in that section have held to since day one - "If you can't handle it, get the fuck out."- should apply to every member here regardless of member title. Otherwise the section is pointless. It's not like it has kept a single detractor from any section other than Slash anyway.

I think it's pretty simple. "If you can't handle it, get out" should apply to controversial opinions etc. That doesn't make it a free for all to be a rude respectless absolute asshole or cupcake the hell out of everything.

No idea why you feel you were treated unfairly, but that's how it should be imo.

Freedom of speech is one thing. The way people choose to say what they want to say makes a big difference though. I'm glad it's being moderated.

It should be gotten rid of completely, as should Don't Damn Me. It appears to me to be just a dumping ground for anything vaguely controversial in the main section so it saves the mods time so they won't have to moderate. I don't intend this to be a pop at the mods I'm just calling it as I see it. I don't think it is the answer to the problems of the main section - the only answer to that is either appoint more mods to spread the workload or enforce the rules in a zero tolerance fashion PUBLICLY and without any ambiguous statements. That way other members of the forum know where the line is, know that overstepping it won't be tolerated and if they choose to do so then nobody can or should have any sympathy for them.

Sorry but I do not think that the moderation policy has been thought out properly.

I post on a lot of forums and none of them are moderated like this one.

As for OP, the Attitude section is moderated very loose, but when the topic at hand is no longer being discussed, and is completely derailed into personal attacks and personal arguments, well, that's when its threads have to be moderated.

I find it hilarious that of all the people to be complaining about attitude it is the one poster who uses it as his personal forum to verbally attack anyone in sight, all day, every day.

How do you expect people to take the moderators seriously when you deny what Damn_Smooth is claiming, particularly when it is Damn_Smooth himself who is 100% guilty of what he himself is pointing out.

I started something with one person in that thread, Maynard. Anybody interested in the truth can easily read the thread and find out. I didn't even care about that until you brought it up though. This thread has nothing to do with that. Anybody who actually believes that there weren't rampant personal insults whether I was involved in a thread, or not, simply hasn't spent much time there. I've pulled off way worse insults than the one you suspended me for and so have the vast majority of the people that regularly post there.
