ToonGuns
I know it is not "Pikes" so slightly off topic... but I literally just discovered that the Mortal Kombat soundtrack featuring Bucket was re-released in September as a limited edition picture disc vinyl! Looks like it was USA only which is why I missed it but managed to pick it up for £30 import from Amazon. https://recordstoreday.com/SpecialRelease/13073
WayTooManyOstriches
I'm glad I saw Gackt's post about the sale. I bought Pikes 277-279, Pikes 281-283, and A real Diamond In The Rough. Pike 280 still hasn't had its digital release it seems. About Division Is The Devil's Playground: I'm getting conflicting reports about how many tracks it should have. I only see 7 tracks listed, but one of the people that reviewed it said it's missing track 8. The zip file from Bandcamp only has 7 tracks plus the artwork. Was that reviewer just mistaken? On the page for Division Is The Devil's Playground they have Bandcamp reviews listed and one of them by the user Dennis Radaelli mentions an eighth track missing. Maybe they were just thinking of another Pike? It's easy to get confused when there are over 200 to choose from! I've heard about this also; I cannot confirm it 100%, but Track #8 on the CD version of Division has the same track time as a download of a live performance of Flare available as a free download off his Bandcamp not available elsewhere, so that could be the missing piece to the puzzle
ToonGuns
I just wish Bucket would organise his website better. Happy Halloween anyway guys! Choose from any one of Bucket's 31 Halloween albums.

Whatever happened to the "Spanish Moss" song? The link is dead. Has it been re-released elsewhere? On 9/27/2020 at 1:16 AM, Gackt said: "Statue for Bootsy" All the money for this recording is going towards building a statue of Bootsy that will be put in Downtown Cincinatti, Ohio. He truly is a hero with the kindest heart. https://music.bucketheadpikes.com/track/statue-for-bootsy $13 for one 6 min song is stretching things a bit I think. I've literally spend $1000's on Bucket throughout my life (pretty much have his entire back catalogue), but this feels steep... Edited November 14, 2020 by ToonGuns Edit: Just read the $13 is to go towards building a statue for Bootsy. Fair enough. Purchased.

Am I right?, they are only for listening on the website? I love how Bucket has spelled "visible" wrong. He's often made these types of typos over the years, I'm never sure if it is intentional or not! Bucket's been taking advantage more of having songs on his page that you can only stream but not download, I suppose so they're kept as strictly previews of what's to come; it's cool to see how some songs are like works in progress and you're listening to the progression, but his bandcamp and main website are getting more and more difficult to navigate because of all the links

James Bond
Always a good day when there's new Pikes to listen to. I've been listening to Pike 65 non-stop the past few days. That's probably my favourite of the ones I have listened to so far. Absolure masterpiece from start to finish.

James Bond
Do any of you know if there is a streamlined list of which Pikes got a physical release versus which ones didn't? I wouldn't mind buying a few CD copies but don't necessarily want to click through each one individually. I'll probably buy the whole digital set eventually instead of cherry picking but some Bucket CDs and vinyl are always good to have.
chevelle
So, I haven't listened to any Bucket in years...if someone had to pick 2 or 3 Pikes that are the best of the best for me to dive into, what might they be? Given how many there are that's probably not an easy ask, so whatever happens to come to mind first is fine.
