Jakey Styley Posted May 20 Posted May 20 They're adjusting and having Madeline sprinkled throughout the set instead of 90 straight minutes with her at the end. It's good because you get a little less of her now, but bad because you can't leave right after Buckethead's solo set. Quote
Gordon Comstock Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Unfortunately I'm gonna bail on the Seattle show. The tickets were cheap so not a big deal, and hotel was fully refunded. It's not just that Madeline is a bad singer, the whole tour seems like it was thrown together too quickly. Juno and Brewer will randomly stop playing at times (like the Jordan solo) and apparently Madeline is now lip synching a lot of her 'performance'. Embarrassing. I'd still go if they were playing my city but I can't justify travelling for this... Quote
Gordon Comstock Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Shit, maybe I should've gone... she wasn't even at the Seattle show. Seems like they had a total falling out, she's been scrubbed from the pikes website and Bucket's bandcamp page, and she removed all the tour dates from her own site. There's tons of theories floating around now but the most interesting one is this picture that she posted on instagram a couple days ago... the caption is "me being as helpful as possible (not very) while the tv in the tour van got fixed so the band could all watch the shining together" Is Bucket that tall, skinny dude with long arms watching The Shing? If so, crazy that she would post it (it's still on her instagram as of now). I could see that being grounds for immediate cancellation of contracts or any kind of professional relationship. Quote
rocknroll41 Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Is this his first time bringing his wife and kid out in public? 2 Quote

Gordon Comstock Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Always cool to see Bucket play bass... seems like he's really turned things around since the tour with Madeline, this is cool as fuck Quote
Jakey Styley Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Saw Buckethead at the Keswick theater in PA last night, it was awesome. My girlfriend bought the tickets as a birthday gift so she came along and was impressed & entertained herself (despite not really knowing him or being into his kind of guitar music). I was surprised at his stage presence, you really don't want to look away, and how little downtime there is in a 2.5 hour almost exclusively guitar based show. I thought there would be more time where I was bored and waiting for the vibe to change but he does a good job at keeping the energy high and having switch-up moments throughout the show. He loves doing shit for the kids in the crowd. 1 Quote
