Cockaroachsoup2011
ummm....this incredibly reviewed show (many press reviews done for this show, some noting it as one of the best rock shows on the planet in 2012, or proclaiming GNR the best live, hard rock act in the world), must have just happened by luck, cause after reading this board, I thought after 2009/2010 Axl was just toast? Came across this performance, it must have just been altered by the bootlegger....man he did a ton of work to auto-tune this, or whatever one does to add that "rasp" and perfect pitch and phrasing??? How can Axl sound, like, better than he ever has in his life? And the band, they are pretty good too (Eugene Stinson and Fortus have a bit of soul don't they now)... AxlisOld
lol @ brief moments of mediocrity as "best he's ever sounded." 93 Axl still sang circles around the best 2010 Axl. 2010 Axl was great, 93 was better (perfect), anything else what acceptable. SR_GR
Some people here on this forum just really like the rasp. My view is that on a normal night - with or without it - Axl’s singing is so unique and loaded with charismathat I do not miss the rasp. His voice might even flow better and with more power without it.

trqster
Axl's voice sounded amazing in 2010, man... &player_embeddedIt certainly did...only problem with that specific performance is that Axl kinda of ran out of breath before the guitar solo.... Forsaken
Of course but he timed it perfect, he knew the solo was coming up so he blew it out.00:57 - 01:20 gave goosebumps

Street of Dreams from this show is pretty nice too. The Jungle from this show still makes me chuckle though. You'd think a pro-shot Jungle from 2010 would be guaranteed to be one of the best ever performances of it captured yet Axl is out of breath the whole time and it's one of the weakest Jungle performances from 2010. Guns N' Roses is cursed when it comes to pro-shot performances.

trqster
One thing's for sure, Axl can still rasp sing like it's 2010 alll over again whenever he decides to do it....just listen from the 6m00s mark...
