I don't know dick about guitars but I do see the 60's as among the most influential for kids to pick up their guitars and grow up to be Slash, EVH, SRV, Tom Morello and what not. Hendrix alone has influenced most of them.And all those guys were influenced by T-Bone Walker, Robert Johnson, B.B. King and Chet Atkins.
