NachoLZ Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I agre. I mean, look at this: 3:40 - 04:10One of the most amazing and epic moments in the history of Rock N' Roll.I love your posts Manets, you don't half exaggerate. Those 30 seconds were cool I'll grant you that but they won't be remembered outside of the hardcore GNR base and on top of that they represent the highlight of NuGNR's existence. After those 30 seconds and Axl sings "Welcome" it has been pretty much a downhill trainwreck ever since. Don't kid yourself into thinking this is a landmark moment in Rock N Roll because it isn't. because it has the potential to be the best band in the world, it has one of the best singers and frontmans ever, good guitar players and stage presence, they are all creative and they can make one of the best albums on history (this lineup), You too. Fuckin LOLwhy? I like what Axl can do, I like Ron's solo music, I like some of Beautiful Creatures, Richard Fortus rocks, so thats my opinion
Facekicker Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I am just laughing at how divorced from reality you are. This lineup can make one of the best albums in history? My bollocks they can.
Mindray11 Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I support them because of their fantastic brazilian crowds. Unbelievable. Magic.
Nosaj Thing Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I will always support GUNS N' ROSES. It's been 20 years since their last performance in Argentina, 1993. I miss them.

ManetsBR Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I know it's not a landmark on the Rock N' Roll history. I know people outside this board don't give a shit, I was just trying to express how awesome this moment is.Axl's vocal was so powerful that makes me think that before the tour began on 2001 he had enough vocal fuel for another 10 years, but he wasted everything on that opening.
ColdHeartBreaker Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I will always support GUNS N' ROSES. It's been 20 years since their last performance in Argentina, 1993. I miss them.QFTNever heard that one before.
jmapelian Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I'm hopefult they put out a decent album @ some time and if they do, I'll buy it - but outside of a killer album, my $$ support of their lifestyle ended in 2008 w the dissapointment that was CD
izzygirl Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I still support GnR, because it was the band that got me into rock and metal. And I still believe, I guess, that maybe... maybe... This, without the last part. I've lost the faith about the last part a few years ago. And also, I still support GNR because the fans are hilarious, for example...I still support GNR cos is one of the best live acts out there, even if Axl is not at his best.^ ...hilarious!
drtydane Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 No band makes music like GnR does.Axl included!Ill go see em when they're around. Gladly buy an album. But honestly I'm only here so often because I like the forum. Been here forever. And the sub forums are usually pretty entertaining.
themadcaplaughs Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Because, it's a band and supporting them is not as important as some of the true choices you have to make in life. I love Guns N' Roses, both new and old, and while I'm sometimes disappointed Axl seems to want to do everything BUT release new music, that is his decision. In my eyes, Guns N' Roses have left an undeniable impact on music, and if Chinese Democracy is your weakest moment as a band/brand, then you have done quite well for yourself.Sorry for the ramblings, I guess I'm saying I support GN'R because (shock) it's a band I like. I've enjoyed every album they've released, every GN'R show I've seen has been amazing (2002, 2006, and 2011; sadly I missed the classic lineup). If new music is ever released, I'll be happy to buy it knowing I'll probably enjoy it; if I do not, well there are plenty of other bands out there and all the old Guns N' Roses records to listen to.
rosehudson Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I'd buy an album if they released it and I'm sure I'll enjoy it but to be honest I don't support them anymore, I want too but I can't. Axls voice has been atrocious as of late, Ron's guitar work has gotten sloppy and to be honest I don't think they look like a band, just a bunch of people sharing a stage. There seems to be no real... affection there. It's not even that I'm a fan boy of the appetite line-up. I love CD (though I think the demos sounded better) I enjoyed the 06' line up, I loved the 01' line up. I just have no affection for this current incarnation of guns, the most dissapointing thing, I have more of a liking for Ashba than I do for Axl.
