I told you weeks ago that Skwerl was going to talk openly and more controversially about the Chinese Democracy/Antiquiet incident specifically revealing the 'household name' that handed him the copy of the record he would later leak. Well, he again abruptly cut off from laying the foundations of the interview. I've repeatedly tried to reopen the connection with no success. So, like you I remain interested in the identity of this 'household name', perhaps therefore we should all email Kevin to emphasise the interest for him to talk about this more elaborately?

I think it is a curiosity as to who leaked the album, but not a particularly strong curiosity for me at this point. The album leaked and in the end, it doesn't matter who did it all that much. The final outcome wouldn't be any different.

But, to your question, I think you should consider that a flood of emails to him to reveal something may in fact the opposite outcome of what you're hoping to happen. Instead of encouraging him to open up, it may irritate him and therefore encourage him to not open up. I don't know the guy, obviously, but some people may react the way I described, so it's worth considering if this is something you're really interested in finding out.

I continue to be interested in the 'household name' who handed Kevin Cogill his copy of Chinese Democracy. It was not some industry randomer, we are dealing with a household name. Why did he do it? Could it help the plausibility of Axl's case if this person were publicly identified?

From emailing Skwerl back and forth I found that if anything, he wasn't aware of the level of interest. I honestly believe that Rolling Stone would pay for the identity of the famous person who gave Skwerl Chinese Democracy.

if he is suggesting that the t is silent then it stands to reason that it should be pronounced 'saue'

Conspiracy theorist want to know! Record company regects too many of the songs Axl wanted on the record as being demo quaility and not sounding like GNR at all... A head on collision coming on with the impending record, lawyers are salivating, fans are masturbating..the clock on the wall screams 11th hour. THe "big guns" are tucked away unheard of and untouched...the songs being played in concert are the ones they were not going to put on the record anyways and are considered to be just filler songs.

Following the strong arm tactics by the record company, Axl announces hes quiting all together and not going to continue any further to Beta...choices have to be made..the hour is getting late and calls are made ....suddenly a motorcycle pulls up to the gate....Axl thinking its the dealer again and goes back to playing piano while a member(s) of a South American family slips a master tape through the hole in the gate and takes his candy caine in return. It has to be done like this or its Axl and company who will be held accountable.

Record executives are in a fury -so they take what they have and decide enough is enough. A few of the more powerful songs reserved for CD 2 are placed alongside the demos presented and "Chinese Democracy is born!!

"Its time to recoup and get a return on our investment" they say amoung themselves and back room deals are cut without the consent or the input or knowledge of one said Mr. Axl Rose...Lee Harvey Oswald is resurected to play the patsy part again but found to be just too dead to give a shit. What appears to be a rough draft of liner notes is fished from the garbage can and quickly reassembled. Songs are hastily remixed to make songs sound efficient and official... and Nov 8th 2008 become zero hour for the release of "Chinese Democracy." Suddenly 3 shots ring out on a November day that forever changes the way new music is ever heard of again from Guns and Roses. After that the world is never the same.
