Guest NGOG
How does Axl react to such an overwhelmingly hostile crowd? I don't think the Dublin piss hecklers or even Download 2006 will compare to the level of animosity GNR will experience at GB. Even if the last minute preparations in Brooklyn go to plan; it seems this type of festival is determined to give Axl and co hell anyway. Is there one iota of possibility GNR can win such a crowd over and leave with any degree of respectability? This is a truly urban event which will garner people largely there to see Kanye and Nas. volcano62
The power of Guns N' Roses will win them over.
ManetsBR
Of course there's a chance they'll win the crowd, it's Axl Rose we're talking about, he is one of the greatest frontman ever. Too bad he forgot about that and simply doesn't care anymore.
highvoltage
I think it's going to prove very difficult to win the crowd over. It's a very contemporary lineup, and GN'R seem an odd choice on the bill.If they pull it off, it has the potential to give Axl some credibility when he could really use it. Cosmo
It was a mistake to play at this festival. I'm sure most have already decided they won't like GnR. And with Axl's current voice and shape? Oh boy..
Val22
If there are a lot of older rich people and politicians, they probably won't get GNR. I bet they're getting a shit load of money.
Guest NGOG
If I were Axl I would cut every Chinese Democracy song except Better and play an 18 song set of the big numbers opening with Jungle. Edited June 5, 2013 by NGOG
ManetsBR
That would be the best he could do.

Cosmo
If I were Axl I would cut every Chinese Democracy song except Better and play an 18 song set of the big numbers opening with Jungle.Maybe a 15-song set with less band jams, solo spots, etc... THEY WILL COMPLAIN.
bacardimayne
There is nothing they can do to avoid the slaughtering they're going to get from this crowd. They dug their own grave when they agreed to play this show.
Guest NGOG
Axl is going to be a real life parody of Twitter's Bad Luck Brian. Greatest hits set, characteristically ill-prepared for everything but in this instance agrees to warm up performance, solid vocals and band, quite punctual getting onstage.Hit by bottles of piss. shotgunblues1978
The Governor's Ball features two "headliners" playing at the same time each night. In GnR's case, Nas is playing on another stage at the same time. That setup should weed out a good portion of people who have zero interest seeing Guns/Axl. The best thing they could do is hit the stage timely and play a nice brisk 1.5 hour show.
Guest NGOG
If Nas gets the big crowd why doesn't Axl just pull out One in a Million? At least it'll get the crowd over even if it's only to pull out handguns and physically try to shoot Axl?
jimb0
They're going on dead last? At least the crowd will get a chance to leave instead of throw piss at Axl.
