TombRaider
There are only so many times you can listen to a great song before you get tired of it, even if it was written by your favorite band. Anyway, what are some of the most overplayed songs, songs that you can't really stand anymore, or overplayed songs you wouldn't mind never hearing again?Stairway to heaven Edited June 6, 2013 by TombRaider

DirtyDeeds
They weren't great songs to begin with, but for some reason they are considered classics.I think it's called Taking it to the Streets by the Doobie Brothers I think. I dunno, I just turn off the radio as soon as I hear, "You don't know me, but I'm your bruh-ther."Takin' Care of Business by BTO FUCK ME, MY EARS!!!!Rikki Don't Lose That Number by Steely Dan

JONEZY
A lot of 1970's Peter Frampton and Bob Seger songs were played over and over again on the radio when I started to get into music in the 80's. Really made me hate them. I don't really hate them, they are great, but when you hear the same songs over and over again for YEARS!!!!, it becomes annoying. ManetsBR
Sweet Child O' Mine has to be the winner. I really can't remember the last time I actually played this song on my iPod.
WhazUp
Yeah Sweet Child is up there, along with Crazy Train, and Sweet Home Alabama. Madness by Muse is a more recently released tune that they play like every third song on my local rock stations and I am pretty tired of that oneFor some reason though I never get tired of hearing Stairway to Heaven, espeically the live versions. chevelle
I used to really like Somebody That I Used to Know until the robot-pop station at work played it every. single. day. Now I can't stand it and that's really a shame.
