Would Axl be sucesful with film soundtracks?

Axl has said before that he loves filmscores and if that a solo album from him would have way more instrumental than the Guns N' Roses albums.

I think he should give it a try. Eddie Vedder and Trent Reznor made a great job, specially Trent. Now I can't imagine a David Fincher film without him.

Yes, and he'd probably be better suited to this nowadays as well. Can't imagine many folk would take him up though as he is more famous for not meeting deadlines and getting tied up in law suits.

If I was producing a movie, it would be hard to use him as the risk would be too great. Or I'd be employing a backup artist to do their one in case Axl Axl'd the process :P

I think Axl got some talent to do this

half of his songs are ( or the bands songs) are pretty good material for a soundtrack

i don't think axl has enough musical skills to do film soundtracks because none of the orchestral work on chinese democracy was done exclusively by axl. it was done by his collaborators.

check out the credits on cd. the orchestral arrangements and everything related to the orchestra was done by marco beltrami or paul buckmaster...

axl was a great singer, but i don't consider him as a good musician.

CD has always had abit of a film soundtrack vibe to me. I think he'd do a badass soundtrack and would be a great way to let out the experimental side of his.

I always thought he should have stuck to rock n roll for Chinese and chosen a movie soundtrack to be the vehicle for his industrial influenced stuff.
