Here is a idea, you don't like GNR , go away!Axl more or less saved my life (not really but you know what I mean when it comes to music) and he puts on a great show even till this day.Don't like it, LEAVE! The comments are more akin to constructive criticism (albeit often frustrated so less constructive), especially when the band continually let people down in their opinion. How else are fans meant to let the band know that they aren't happy with the current direction?Everybody who posts here wants at least one thing from the band which indicates that they aren't haters in general. We all have different reasons for liking GnR and want different things (whether it be a reunion, new album, whatever) - doesn't mean people are haters or not correct in their particular opinion. Forums are a place where every person (including yourself) is allowed to have a view. People expressing their views on whether the band is/isn't heading in the right direction is something that should be encouraged IMO. You can still like the band but think that Axl sounds like shit at the moment and the current tour is pointless. Doesn't make you a hater. Your post doesn't really make sense - objectively anybody posting here has an interest and some form of liking for GnR.Polarizing people as either haters or nutswingers is stupid, there can be a middle objective ground. Chinese Democracy is a complete and utter masterpiece. It's such a shame that so many have failed to acknowledge it's brilliance simply because it's a different guitar player under the hat. That being said, these last 4 years have really tested my patience. I think the current lineup puts on a great show, but it's the same show every time. I think Axl needs another record (or two) to really cement his legacy and justify his decision to not reunite with the old lineup. I'd really like to hear new material, but if GNR is to be nothing more than a nostalgia act then he should really just bring back the old lineup (-Adler). If I were to watch any of the last few canadian dates for the first time I think I'd be blown away. The problem is I've listened/watched every show since 2009 and they're all essentially the same. I think Axl and the band are too good to continue on cruise control. I think it's past time Axl let this lineup prove itself on record.
