Randy Lahey
Does anybody else think that Eazy E had the coolest sounding voice in rap history? You can bash his lyrical content all you want, but there's no denying that unique voice of his. The best part of every NWA song for me was when Eazy was on the mic. Guest Manny Manner
I love Eazy. The very first album I can remember buying was Straight Outta MF'n Compton. The sleeve had this thing where you had to scratch it off to reveal the title- I presume to get around the censors. Coolest voice in rap history? I wouldn't say that, but Eazy was one of the great rappers of all time, no doubt about it.

Randy Lahey
Eazy's voice was the one that stood out to me as a kid when I first heard Straight Outta Compton. Chuck D and Ice T also really stood out to me. Straight Outta Compton, Fear of A Black Planet and Iceberg were the three albums that got me into rap music. It's definitely up there as one of my favorites. Still to this day that is my favorite rap album. And it is probably the album I've listened to the most in my lifetime. luciusfunk
Dunno about coolest, but probably the most unique. Definitely my favorite part of any N.W.A. song.
J Dog
For sure one of the coolest voices. Cube said when he wrote Boyz N Tha Hood that nobody could rap it right. After he ran out of options Eazy jumped on it for the hell of it. And of course nailed it. That voice did it. I always loved Snoop's voice too. wasted
but actually the first line of Straight outta compton is Ice Cube? Thats my favorite opening from any album ever.
Spoon87
Although I'm kinda biased as a die hard 2Pac fan (still), I gotta say Pac's voice with all that fire inside of him was the coolest, with Ice Cube's thick dark gangsta voice following in second place. Eazy's voice was crazy, too.

sweetness
no, not really. I like Eazy but compared to everything else going on in 90's hip hop he was pretty underwhelming
Cosmo
Voice-wise, the coolest sounding voice I've ever heard rapping is Fred Durst. His voice is so cool.

Johnny Drama
Eazy was a hooray for tolerance! that sold NWA down the river so that he could make the last buck and make shit music thereafter with it.
Guest Len B'stard
I always thought he sounded like a girl Cool voices? I guess to be a good rapper the first thing you gotta have is good presentation, even above skills really so by that reckoning i guess it's one of the first thing you look for in a rapper, the best ones have a very distinctive voice, Red, Meth, Busta Rhymes, Raekwon, Tupac, the boys outta Onyx or Treach outta Naughty by Nature, Biggie Smalls, Kane, Rakim etc etcI'd have to go with Dalsh though like, when i think cool i think smooth i think Kane, Rakim etc. Coolest voice, hmmm, Slick Rick?
