Nick85 Posted August 3, 2013 Share Posted August 3, 2013 I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for the band to know that Team Brazil, who are now completely in charge of managing GNR, only focus right now is getting the band SA gigs and not on releasing the previously recorded material, or focusing on new recordings and moving the band forward. This after 5 years of promises that the next album "would not take as long as Chinese" to release from various members of the band. It's obvious that the vast majority of the fanbase of has nothing but animosity towards this takeover of GNR, but it must be equally frustrating for guys like Ron & DJ, who thought they were joining GNR under very different circumstances, and not just to continue the never-ending Chinese Democracy tour. niceguy Posted August 3, 2013 Share Posted August 3, 2013 No, the "band" doesn't hate Team Brazil. The employees (DJ, Bumby, etc) all knew full-well that they were taking a cover band gig. They signed contracts to perform other musicians' material note for note. Patience 4 Axl Posted August 3, 2013 Share Posted August 3, 2013 Wasn't Bumblefoot pissed when they had to do that last minute wedding gig and he was still in pain from the car accident and just wanted to get home? I imagine they must have their issues, probably like anyone who has to deal with a boss / manager / supervisor. The problem though is that there's no where else to go if their problem doesn't get resolved, and that must be extremely frustrating at times.
