chevelle Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 That ending cliffhanger had me shaking by the end of it.Me too. I felt like I was on a caffeine high.I felt the same way and I can honestly say this is the first time a show has ever done that to me - literally had me shaking. It wasn't quite the same with the earlier seasons because I watched them all after they aired, so the cliffhangers weren't nearly as powerful. Quote
Randy Lahey Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 (edited) I'm going to be pissed if Hank and Gomie aren't dead. Only the A-Team and Rambo are allowed to walk away unscathed after that type of gunfire. Edited September 9, 2013 by Randy Lahey Quote
sweetness Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Talking Bad is just terrible.Talking Dead was implemented fairly early in the show's run. I'm still not a fan, but given the fact that it inherently courts a very 'geeky' fanbase (being a zombie show and all), it made sense. Having guys like Kevin Smith on there and stuff...I never watched a single episode and I was never a fan of the idea, but I understood the appeal to the fanatics. But for Breaking Bad? This is just a whole other type of show, and to bring in a 'Talking Bad' program in the second half of the final season just seems so fucking crass. couldn't agree more, can't believe anybody watches those shows. Is some peoples TV comprehension so bad they need to have other people talk about it to make it more clear? It definitely is pretty bad but it's not that much different than talking about it here.Sure it is, engaging in a discussion and watching B celebrities on TV have a discussion are two very different things Quote
bacardimayne Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Chris Hardwick is literally the most enormous hooray for tolerance! on the face of the earth. Quote
Forsaken Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Don't see how that would be possible since you have 8+ people still gunning you down(Hank). All the while, Jesse slips out of the back car seat. Quote
Gordon Comstock Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Well he hid behind the truck where Walt is hiding, it is possible for him to grab him as leverage but the odds are against him.If Hank grabs Walt as a shield or uses him as leverage he's gonna be shot the second he loosens his grip on him.... Which I mean, could happen, that could be what sets off the Heisenburg manhunt and the next episode could be when he goes on the run..... Quote
WhazUp Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 That ending cliffhanger had me shaking by the end of it.Same here, especially since I wasn't keeping track of how much time was left for the episode I was totally taken aback when the credits started rollingWell played Vince Gilligan, well played Quote
Ace Nova Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I loved how excited Jr was when Saul turned up at the car wash hmmmm....maybe preluding to Junior possibly being in the spinoff with Saul?? 1 Quote
downzy Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I'm going to be pissed if Hank and Gomie aren't dead. Only the A-Team and Rambo are allowed to walk away unscathed after that type of gunfire.I really don't see that happening. Just a hunch, but I bet the next episode picks up a few minutes after the last one, with Gomez dead and Hank heavily injured, out of bullets, and Walt forced to watch his execution by Uncle Jack. bacardimayne Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I can see Walt getting out of the car and standing in front of the bullets, Gus style. He agrees to cook (maybe ropes Jesse in with him) in exchange for Hank's life? Quote

Would put Hank in an interesting situation for the remaining couple of episodes too.Edit: What 'cardi said. The logistical problem with that is i don't see how Hank gets out of the car himself. If I remember correctly, I believe he's handcuffed. Someone will have to let him out of the car. The question is, will Hank still be alive when Uncle Jack or Todd finally gets Walt out the car? Perhaps. If that's the case your scenario makes a lot of sense. But I've got to believe that Walt doesn't play ball with these guys - think back (or forward) to what happens to Walt's house. Maybe it's not Walt's hit squad who rampages through the White's homestead, but if it is, something has to have sparked aggression against Walt. If Hank dies that might lead Walt to do something that would aggravate his former employees. The great thing about this show is it's never obvious. Like Jesse said a few episodes ago (though he was talking to Hank he might have well been talking to the audience), the opposite of what you expect is often what happens.
