Gia Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 why am I reading all this... I'm still waiting for the show to go on Amazon lol Quote
chevelle Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 (edited) My guess with the house is that, if we take the Heisenberg tag as proof that Walt gets caught and exposed to the world, the house becomes a 'hot target' so to speak for vandalism and the like. What teenage kid would pass up the opportunity to fuck up an abandoned drug lord's house? That aside, I was quite surprised by Hank confronting Walt so early on, I can't wait to see how that plays out for them over the next seven episodes. The 'tread lightly' speech was classic Heisenberg. Edited August 12, 2013 by chevelle Quote
DirtyDeeds Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Walt isn't going to be able to make up a fictitious explanation for why his face is all fucked up now. He's going to have to come clean real fast with Skylar that Hank knows and even tell Jr. about everything, and he's going to have to go to Saul's law practice immediately after leaving Hank's house so that he can call the guy that can relocate the family and give them new identities. bacardimayne Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Good pointWhy else would he blow up a meth lab his own house? It'd be like a throwback to the season 1 episodes where he poisoned the guys in the RV and blew up Tuco's HQ. Quote

I can see Walt going full egomaniac and refusing to run away from Hank, knowing he won't turn him in. Quote
Black Sabbath Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 I didn't think the house looked like it had blown up. Just looked abandoned and rundown. 1 Quote
DirtyDeeds Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 It looked like a crackhouse, not somewhere that had a single major catastrophe. Quote

drtydane Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Oh shit. Can't wait to find out about his house.Amazing scene. I want to know who the people are in the backyard, and the complete destruction is unbelievable.Think they're just skating there because the house has been abandoned. Crazy that ppl are like squatting in a house like that in a nice neighborhood. Makes you wonder if sumthing crazy happened there to tolerate that kind of behavior and those types of people. Quote

ManetsBR Posted August 12, 2013 Author Posted August 12, 2013 Just finished the episode. Impressive stuff. They managed to go over all main characters and their relationships, which is not exactly easy to do in just one episode.I'm also very glad that the Hank-Walt confrontation already happen, I could swear they were going to drag it for at least half season too."Hello, Carol" was awesome. Gordon Comstock Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 I can see Walt making Skylar and Jr relocate, then him and jesse going all out against everyone in some egomaniac "fuck it" last hoora sort of thing. Quote
Randy Lahey Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 There is Breaking Bad and then there is everything else. Great episode. Set up the season quite nicely. 1 Quote
Tater Totts Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 The ending scene with Hank and Walt was awesome! Not sure where Jesse goes after that episode but it seemed clear that he didn't believe Walt and I think he will play a big part in his downfall. Also glad to see me theory about the cancer being back was true, although Walt might have been lying about that to try and stop Hank but I doubt it.Very much agree with you Bacardi, Walt's ego won't let him back down so he will be putting the pressure on Hank. 1 Quote
Tater Totts Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Also based on the woman who visited him in the car wash I wouldn't be surprised if the drugs syndicate try and get Walt to come back and threaten him and his family (like breaking into his house and spraypainting Heisenberg on the wall), as a result he has to go to Hank in an attempt to get the family into witness protection. bacardimayne Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 (edited) He doesn't necessarily need to go to Hank. Remember the guy Saul recommended when shit hit the fan with Gus? The guy who said he could make people "disappear"?BTW, I feel like Badger's Star Trek plot is actually a detailed summary of how things are going to go down, just with the character names changed. Conor Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 God bless Netflix UK for striking the deal to put up the episodes as soon as they've aired over in America. Quote

Tater Totts Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Walt takes something from everyone he kills, maybe fashion sense from Jesse? Quote
bacardimayne Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Look at Jesse in my avatar and then look at Walt in the right picture. Quote
